Kurt Watson has worked on the bush cables project for a number of years now. Kurt recalls how the idea came about:

"I spent 8 years in the British army, driving a range of different vehicles throughout the world (Gulf, Falklands, Bosnia, Gibralta, Cyprus, Canada). My most rewarding role in the army was as a Land Rover Off Road Driving Instructor - I got to  teach new recuits how to drive the best 4X4 by far - Land Rovers ( what a priveledge). This experience made me understand the risks to unprotected windscreens when off road driving."

On leaving the army - Kurt mantained his enthusiasm for off roading and joined the Humberside Land Rover Club.  After a few scrapes too many, Kurt eventually developed the idea for bush cables...and the idea just spread. Now bush cables are being used 4 continents of the planet, not many to go now.
